President Ram Chandra Paudel Visits Flood-Affected Areas in Nuwakot

Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Paudel on Monday conducted an on-site observation of various areas in Nuwakot district affected by the flood in the Bhote Koshi river in Rasuwa on Bhadra 10. He also met with flood-affected and victims here and heard their grievances.

He received information about the impact of the flood in the Bhote Koshi in Nuwakot and the damage caused by it from the District Security Committee. On the occasion, committee members including Chief District Officer Shambhu Prasad Regmi presented details of the loss of life and property caused by the Rasuwa flood in the district. Chief District Officer Regmi also informed President Paudel about the ongoing work related to the search, rescue, relief, rehabilitation, and immediate construction for the flood victims.
