Bagmati Province Constructs 1,640 km of Blacktopped Roads in Six Years

Makwanpur. The Bagmati Province government has constructed approximately 1,700 kilometers of blacktopped (paved) roads in the last six years. A total of 1,640.19 kilometers of paved roads have been constructed from the fiscal year 2077/078 to the present.

According to the Province Government's Economic Survey 2083, the province government constructed 279.75 kilometers of paved roads in the fiscal year 2077/078, while 264.73 kilometers were constructed in fiscal year 2078/079, 400.80 kilometers in fiscal year 2079/080, 290.51 kilometers in fiscal year 2080/081, 278.32 kilometers in 2081/082, and 126.08 kilometers of paved roads have been constructed by the end of February in the current fiscal year 2082/083.
