MP Jayanti Rai Demands Solution to Tea Export Issues with India

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party (NCP) National Assembly MP Jayanti Devi Rai has demanded that the government immediately resolve the problem related to tea exports to India. Speaking at the National Assembly meeting on Monday, she alerted the government to determine appropriate alternatives to solve all problems seen in the export of Nepali farmers' produce, including tea.

MP Rai emphasized that the government should immediately hold talks with the Indian government to solve the problem, as tea export to India has come to a halt, pushing Nepali tea industries towards closure.
