US House Passes Bill for Ukraine Aid and Sanctions on Russia

Washington DC. The US House of Representatives has passed a bill to provide billions of dollars in military aid to Ukraine and impose strict economic sanctions on Russia. This bill was passed amidst clear opposition from President Donald Trump and his own Republican Party leadership.

In the vote held in the House of Representatives, the bill received 226 votes in favor and 195 against. This bill has made provisions to impose strict sanctions on Russia's oil and gas sector, as well as increase economic pressure on Russian banks, mines, and government institutions.
