US, South Korea, Japan to Conduct Joint Military Exercise 'Freedom Edge'

Kathmandu. The United States, which is trying to resume dialogue with North Korea, will conduct a joint military exercise with the US and Japan, even though the annual military exercise with South Korea has been shortened.

According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of South Korea, the three countries will conduct the 'Freedom Edge' exercise in the international waters east and south of Jeju Island from September 7 to 11. The exercise will include activities related to maritime missile defense, air and air defense, anti-submarine warfare, and cyber defense.
