Man Escapes Jail, Involved in Heroin Trade

Kathmandu. A youth imprisoned in a murder case was found to have escaped from there and engaged in the trade of brown heroin. Nishant Rasaili, 29, a resident of Panchkhal Municipality-12, Kavre, was in Bhimphedi Jail, Makwanpur.

He escaped from jail on August 24 last year during the Genji movement. Exactly one year later, the police have arrested him with brown heroin. SSP Subash Bohora of the Narcotics Control Bureau told Ratopati that 64 grams 780 milligrams of brown heroin were recovered from Rasaili, who was arrested in Chandragiri, Kathmandu on August 18.
