Health Insurance Program Resumes at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center

Kathmandu. The health insurance program has resumed at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center. The hospital has stated that the OPD service under the health insurance program of the Government of Nepal has resumed. The health insurance program at the hospital had been closed for some time. Dr. Rabindra Bhakta Timila, acting executive director of the center, informed that the insurance program based on OPD service has resumed at Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center. The center had stated that it was difficult to implement the program effectively due to the non-availability of the amount that the center should receive from the Health Insurance Board as reimbursement.
