Far-Western Province Government Presents Budget Amidst Opposition Boycott

Dhangadhi. The opposition party CPN (Maoist Centre) has boycotted the Provincial Assembly meeting as the Sudurpashchim Provincial Government presented the budget at midnight. Opposition MPs boycotted the meeting, expressing strong objection to the government's working style after the meeting started nearly 7 hours late.

Speaking after seeking time at the beginning of the meeting, Nepali Communist Party MP Man Bahadur Dhami accused the government of staging a drama by presenting the budget at midnight. He announced that they would not participate in such a process, stating that this move by the government has created a humiliating and shameful situation for the Provincial Assembly itself.
