Narayani Hospital doctors resign en-masse against assault on medical officer

Parsa, July 29: Doctors at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj resigned en-masse on Tuesday, in their protest against the assault on medical officer Dr Pramod Ram Shah on Saturday.

Earlier, Raj Kumar Patel, 45, of Birgunj Metropolis-25, died on Saturday while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Accusing the doctors of negligence in his treatment, his relatives attacked medical officer Dr Pramod Ram and vandalized the hospital property.
