Kathmandu. Poor coordination among government agencies, regulators, and service providers has disrupted internet services and sparked disputes during Kathmandu Valley's ongoing cable management campaign.

Internet services in parts of the capital were severely affected after tangled telecom cables were cut in Thapathali following a fire, while a separate dispute in Gaushala saw technicians from private internet service providers (ISPs) questioned by police over allegations that Nepal Telecom's cables had been cut.
