Government Pursues Unpaid Dues from Internet Service Providers

Kathmandu. The government has started efforts to recover outstanding telecommunication service fees, license fees, and dues for the Rural Telecommunication Development Fund (RTDF) from Internet Service Provider (ISP) companies.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has initiated discussions with stakeholders to resolve the long-standing dispute related to outstanding amounts, tax assessments, and license renewals, thereby commencing procedural work.
