Police Raid on Businessman's Residence Based on False Information

Biratnagar. Police raided the 'Debenra Mundada Residence' located in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-7 early Monday morning. The police, who arrived at dawn, left the place only after 5 hours, at 9 am. Security personnel in large numbers, under the command of Morang Superintendent of Police (SP) Kavita Katuwal, surrounded the Mundada residence and office. The police team was deployed as if for a major operation. Drones were used there. There were more than 10 police vehicles there.

Chief of Koshi Province Police Office, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Shekhar Khanal, said that sending a large police team, using drones, and sealing the road to conduct an operation before verifying the information sent a negative message.
