Seven Arrested for Illegally Selling Fuel from Tanker in Birgunj

Parsa. Seven people have been arrested along with a tanker for being involved in the illegal sale and distribution of oil by stealing oil from a tanker carrying petroleum products that entered Nepal after ICP checking on the Bypass road section of Birgunj Metropolitan City-14.

On Thursday evening, around 5:10 PM, it was found that oil was being illegally extracted by lifting the seal fitted on the petroleum product-carrying tanker with number Na.7 Kha 1539 using a hook made of iron pipe at Saudagar Oil Center located on the Bypass road of Birgunj Metropolitan City-14. The individuals were apprehended in the act.
