Organizations Condemn Violence, Demand Justice for Deceased

Kathmandu. Various organizations related to Janji have expressed condolences to the citizens who died due to firing by security forces in Devanaganj, Sunsari on July 26 and Golbazar, Siraha on July 30, and expressed sympathy to the bereaved families.

Janji Movement Alliance, Jan-G Civic Forum, Newa Jan-G, and The Red Chapter issued a joint statement wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured in the incidents. They also expressed regret over the clash between religious communities that spread in Sunsari on July 26 and drew serious attention to the role of the state.
