Bagmati Province Government to Subsidize Interest on Loans for Self-Employed Entrepreneurs

Makwanpur. The Bagmati Province Government is preparing to provide interest subsidies to self-employed entrepreneurs. The provincial government has moved forward with the process to provide subsidies on the interest charged on concessional business loans.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning of the province will provide subsidies on the interest charged on concessional loans to develop entrepreneurship and create employment across the province. Information was provided at an interaction program organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning in Hetauda regarding the procedure for interest subsidy on self-employment business loans that subsidies will be provided on the interest charged on concessional loans to develop entrepreneurship and create employment. For the program, 20 crore rupees have been allocated in the current fiscal year 2083/084 to provide subsidies on the interest charged on concessional loans.
