Former NADA Chairman Dhurba Bahadur Thapa Highlights Infrastructure Lag Amidst Vehicle Import Surge

Kathmandu. Former NADA Chairman and Chairman of Himalaya Organisation, Dhurba Bahadur Thapa, has stated that while the import of vehicles in Nepal is happening at a rapid pace, the construction of road and transport infrastructure is progressing at a slow pace.

Speaking at the 'Naima Mobility Dialogue' program in Nepal on Wednesday, Thapa said that the increase in the number of vehicles is not the only problem; the main challenge lies in the inability to develop infrastructure such as roads, parking, and traffic management accordingly.
