Editor Arrested Over Publication Sparks Journalist Protest

Kathmandu. Journalists have become agitated after the editor of Janastha Weekly and chairman of Aastha Media, Kishor Shrestha, was arrested by the police over a published news item.

Shrestha, who was arrested from his residence in Nakkhu, Lalitpur on Wednesday evening, has been kept in the custody of Kathmandu Police Range. He was arrested over a news item published in Janastha Weekly.
