5 Deaths from Japanese Encephalitis in Jhapa in Four Months

Jhapa. 5 people have died from Japanese Encephalitis (JE) infection in Jhapa in the last four months. Out of 9 people confirmed with JE infection in the district so far, 5 have died. Among those who died, three were men and two were women.

Among the infected, three are from Mechinagar, one from Haldibari, one from Baddashi, one from KachanKawal, two from Birtamod, and one from Arjundhara.
