Sher Bahadur Deuba Returns, Declares No Personal Ambition, Pledges Service to Nation

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress's former president and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has stated that he no longer desires any personal gain or position of power. Upon returning home after a health treatment of about five months, Deuba, in an appeal, mentioned that he will dedicate his remaining life to the protection of the nation, nationality, and democracy.

In the appeal, Deuba stated that he has not returned to gain power but to overcome the existing political challenges in the country and strengthen national unity. 'I have nothing more to gain politically, but my past experience should be of use to the country and the party, and it is my duty to share that experience with the new generation,' Deuba wrote in the appeal.
