Army's Development Projects Progress Slowly

Kathmandu. The progress of development projects under the responsibility of the Nepali Army, which has been demonstrating its efficiency in road construction in complex geographical areas along with the primary responsibility of the country's national security, has been slow. Especially, the national pride project Kathmandu–Terai–Madhesh Expressway (Fast Track), which started construction 9 years ago, has not yet reached 50 percent physical progress, and the condition of other strategic roads is also not satisfactory.

The progress report made public by the army shows that the cost of the projects is increasing due to the delay in completion, and questions have been raised about the army's efficiency.
