National Assembly Members Urge Government Action on Communal Violence, Price Hikes, and Essential Services

Kathmandu. National Assembly members have drawn the government's attention to taking action against those responsible for recent communal violence in areas like Surkhet and to establish peace and order across the country. In the special time of today's National Assembly meeting, they demanded the easy availability of essential goods for daily life along with peace and security.
In the meeting, Nepali Congress MP Bishnukumari Sapkota drew the government's attention to the plight of the Nepali people suffering from the high cost of cooking gas and demanded the assurance of the right to food, health, and education, which are within fundamental rights. She expressed concern over the increasing trend of गालीगलौज (abusive language) on social media, stating that such intolerance is unacceptable in the holy land of Nepal.
