Tribhuvan University Leadership Vacancies Hamper Academic and Administrative Functions

Kathmandu. Even 40 days after Professor Dr. Bhola Thapa was appointed Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University, key officials have not been selected. This is severely affecting the academic and administrative functions of the university. Thapa was appointed Vice-Chancellor on Asar 19.

The university is still being run by acting Rector and acting Registrar. Currently, Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Shankar Prasad Kharel, is in charge of acting Rector, and Dean of the Management Faculty, Professor Dr. Mahananda Chalise, is in charge of acting Registrar.
