Kathmandu. Nepal’s participation in esports at the 20th Asian Games, scheduled to be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, has been officially canceled following a prolonged dispute and administrative deadlock between two rival esports organisations.

The conflict between the Esports Association Nepal (ESAN), operating under the National Sports Council (NSC), and the privately run Nepal Esports Association (NESA) has resulted in Nepal losing its quota at the Asian Games.
