Ganesh Yadav Declared Martyr After Clash; Home Ministry Investigates

Kathmandu. After the clash that took place in Sunsari on July 10, its impact was also felt in the districts of Madhesh. In Siraha on July 14, 18-year-old Ganesh Yadav lost his life in a clash with the police during a demonstration. Yadav, a resident of Aurahi Rural Municipality-2, has already been declared a martyr by the Council of Ministers.

The Home Ministry is investigating the cause of Ganesh Yadav's death and those involved in it. The ministry has formed a committee led by Joint Secretary Pushparaj Shahi. Ministry of Home Affairs Spokesperson (Joint Secretary) Anand Kafle told Ratopati that the committee is investigating. He said, 'The committee has started the investigation.'
