GANDAKI PROVINCE: VEHICLE ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES INCREASE BY 14% AND 7% RESPECTIVELY IN FY 2082/083

Pokhara. Vehicle accidents and the resulting death rate in Gandaki Province have increased. According to the Gandaki Province Traffic Police Office, accidents have increased by approximately 14 percent and the death rate by about 7 percent in FY 2082/083 compared to FY 2081/082.

In FY 2082/083, 435 accidents occurred, resulting in 252 deaths. Similarly, 347 people were seriously injured, and 179 were slightly injured.
