AI Agents Conduct First Fully Automated Cyberattack on Taiwan Government Systems

Kathmandu. With artificial intelligence (AI) making great strides, incidents of its misuse are increasing.
It has been revealed that hackers used automated AI systems to carry out cyberattacks in Taiwan. Experts say this is the first known fully automated attack on government agencies. According to 'Dream', an Israeli AI company that first detected the attack, AI agents mapped out 21 government systems over four days in July. They succeeded in cracking 85 government user accounts and extracting records of 2,500 employees.
