‘Make policy and laws with adequate preparation’

Kathmandu, Aug 14: President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Anjan Shrestha, has said the trend of making policy and law in haste must end.
In his address to the 59th annual general meeting of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), president Shrestha reminded that the tendency of not effectively internalizing suggestions given by the private sector was creating problems in enforcement of policies. “Government must encourage adequate discussion and dialogue for making new policies or laws. If the private sectors’ suggestions are addressed well, the policies and laws become complete and feasible,” he underlined.
