Nepal Medical Council Takes Action Against STD Treatment Clinic in Thamel

Kathmandu. The Nepal Medical Council has initiated a process of action against the 'STD Treatment Clinic' operating in Thamel, based on complaints received. Action has been initiated against the doctors and health workers of the clinic in accordance with the report of the investigation team formed by the Council and the Nepal Medical Council Act, 2020 and Regulations, 2024.

The Council stated that action has been initiated by seeking clarification from doctors who are practicing outside their scope of work using expired licenses and creating confusion by using degrees not registered with the Council.
