Nepali Congress Proposes Policy Reforms for Economic and Social Development

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has concluded that it needs to reform its traditional economic and social policies to address the changing geopolitical environment, technological development, and public aspirations.

At a national gathering of the dissenting faction held in Kathmandu, leader Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat presented a proposal titled 'Working Direction of Nepali Congress's Economic and Social Policy,' emphasizing the need for policy to be contemporary and dynamic while keeping the core goal of democratic socialism intact.
