Former Vice-Chancellor Reflects on Experience and Institutional Reform

Nepal Academy of Arts and Literature and two other academies have recently received a new team of academicians. I wish to congratulate all the newly appointed with the respect of unbroken succession. And, at the beginning of this article, I offer my advance wishes – do not fail to convey a message of high morality and good culture. Because this is also an internal and main aspect of academic qualification that has never been said or thought of before. This is because academicians are cultural ambassadors of the country.

In this context, I have the experience of working there as Vice-Chancellor for approximately three years and three months. And, with the specific goals I have achieved, I want to share a few things about our perceptions, understandings, and misconceptions that have been formed about Nepal Academy of Arts and Literature for a long time.
