Flood Risk in 29 Districts Due to Heavy Rainfall

Kathmandu. The Flood Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued a flood forecasting bulletin on Sunday morning, stating that there is a moderate risk of flash floods in small rivers flowing through 29 different districts of the country.

According to the division, as of this morning, the flow of Koshi, Narayani, Bagmati, Karnali, Mahakali and their tributaries, along with Kankai, Kamala, Babai, Eastern Rapti and Western Rapti rivers, is below the alert level.
