Deuba States Personal Belief in Hinduism

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress's former president and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that he is personally a follower of Hinduism and has the right to express his faith.

Addressing the closing ceremony of the three-day national gathering of the breakaway faction in Sukedhara, Kathmandu, Deuba clarified his views on religion. Responding to the curiosity of the participating representatives about Hindu nation and religious identity, Deuba said – 'I should be able to say that I follow Hinduism, and I can. I am free to speak about my religion.'
