Passenger Bus Accident in Hungary Kills 12

Kathmandu. At least 12 people have died and other passengers have been injured in a passenger bus accident in Hungary on Sunday morning. Police said the accident may have been caused by the bus driver falling asleep.

The bus, with a Polish number plate, was traveling east on Hungary's M-3 highway when it went off the road and overturned in a ditch near the city of Mezokovesd at around 1:00 AM local time, police said. The location is about 140 kilometers east of the capital Budapest.
