Rukum West: Landslide Damages Vehicles, Puts Homes at Risk

Rukum West. Due to continuous rain for the past few days, a landslide in Sherigaun, Musichot Municipality-5, Rukum West, has caused damage to vehicles kept in a workshop. Three nearby houses are at risk due to the landslide.

The landslide suddenly fell on the Yug Engineering Workshop, operated by Dhan Bahadur BK, on the side of the Mid-Hilly Highway this afternoon, informed Jhvendra Pariyar, Information Officer and Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Rukum West. He stated that the workshop's single-story building made of corrugated iron sheets and iron trusses was completely damaged by the landslide.
