Government Launches National Supply Policy 2083 to Combat Syndicates and Price Hikes

Kathmandu. The government has unveiled the strategic roadmap 'National Supply Policy 2083' to break the web of syndicates, artificial shortages, and unnatural price hikes.

This policy, unveiled by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, replaces the old 'Supply Policy 2069' and outlines a supply management framework in line with the new federal structure. The ministry has made this policy public for feedback and suggestions, covering everything from the kitchens of general consumers to national security stockpiles. The government aims to free the market from the clutches of middlemen and make it 'technology-friendly and transparent'.
