Lumbini Province Chief Minister to Seek Vote of Confidence

Butwal. While Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chetanarayan Acharya is preparing to take a vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly, the MPs of the parties supporting the government have gathered at the CPN-UML Parliamentary Office.

The MPs from parties including CPN-UML, Communist Party of Nepal, and Rastriya Janamorcha, which are in favor of the government, have gathered at the UML Parliamentary Office. They are preparing to go to the Provincial Assembly meeting collectively. With the presence of the MPs, it is said that the necessary majority has been gathered in favor of Chief Minister Acharya. After the Nepali Congress withdrew its support to the government, Chief Minister Acharya is going to take a vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly in accordance with the constitutional provisions.
