For the first time, Speaker directs PM Shah to face House questions

The directive comes after opposition lawmakers repeatedly demanded a response from the prime minister over his remarks on Nepal’s encroachment on Indian territory.

For the first time since the present House came into operation, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal on Monday directed Prime Minister Balendra Shah to appear in the House of Representatives and answer questions raised by lawmakers.
