Drones Used to Plant Amriso Seeds Across 40 Hectares of Landslide-Hit Land in Nawalparasi

Kathmandu. Drone technology has been used to plant Amriso (broom grass) seeds across around 40 hectares of landslide-affected land in Ramche, Ward No. 5 of Hupsekot Rural Municipality, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), as part of efforts to control soil erosion and restore vegetation.
The three-day seed-sowing campaign was carried out from Thursday to Sunday at the request of the Division Forest Office under WWF Nepal’s ‘Triple Benefit Program’. Geovation Nepal provided the technical support for the operation.
