Hetauda. With the resignation of Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniyan from his post, the constitutional process for forming a new government has begun. However, the internal dispute within the CPN-UML, which is preparing to lead the government, has made it difficult for the left alliance to form a new government.
Province Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota has called for claims to be submitted for the appointment of a new Chief Minister on Monday in accordance with Article 168 (2) of the Constitution. The deadline for the Province Assembly member who can secure a majority with the support of two or more parties has been set for Thursday, Bhadra 4, at 4 PM.
