Two Arrested with Large Quantity of Opium in Kohalpur After Police Firing

Kohalpur. Police have arrested two people with a large quantity of opium in Kohalpur, Banke, by firing in the air. The Narcotics Control Bureau team took them under control on Monday from Kohalpur Municipality Ward No. 6.

A joint police team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office Nepalgunj and Surkhet arrested them based on specific information. When the police surrounded the accused while opium was being traded, the accused tried to flee. To stop those trying to flee, the police fired one round in the air as a warning.
