Attorneys' role important to maintain rule of law: PM Deuba

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said attorneys have significant role to maintain rule of law and administration of criminal justice. PM Deuba was speaking during a programme organized to mark the 71st anniversary of Office of the Attorney General (OAG) in the federal capital on Wednesday.

PM Deuba urged the attorneys to be committed to rule of law, human rights, and fundamental rights. He also lauded OAG's role on promotion of rule of law and citizen's rights. Deuba believed that OAG would deliver its service in a specialized manner.
