President Bhandari attends Basanta Shrawan ritual

Kathmandu, 26 January (2023) - President Bidya Devi Bhandari attended the 'Basanta Shrawan' ritual organised at Nasal Chowk located in Hanumandhoka Durbar Square today.

On the occasion of Basanta Panchami festival, President Bhandari reached the Nasal Chowk where priest at Hanumandhoka Durbar Supervision Office, Devraj Aryal, recited the 'Basanta' verses at 10:47 am, the auspicious hour. The hymns are written by Jaydev Panta in the ancient time.
