France. In a friendly football match played as preparation for the FIFA World Cup, Ivory Coast defeated France, considered a major contender for the title, by 2-1. Ivory Coast registered an impressive victory by making an excellent comeback in the second half of the game.

France took the lead in the first half through an attractive goal by Rayan Cherki. But in the second half, Ivory Coast came back into the game and turned the result in their favor with goals from Guela Doue and Amad Diallo. Diallo's decisive goal gave the 'Elephants' the victory.
