Man Arrested with Fake Police ID, Drugs, and Cash in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. District Police Range Kathmandu has taken one person under control with a fake police identity card, a large quantity of narcotic drugs, and cash. Based on a special tip-off about selling and distributing narcotic drugs, a police team dispatched from Police Circle Boudha arrested a 32-year-old youth.

The arrested person has been identified as 32-year-old Nawang Sherpa, a permanent resident of Narayanatar, Ward No. 6, Gokarneshwor Municipality, Kathmandu District, currently residing in a rented room in Makalbaree, Ward No. 8 of the same municipality. While checking and searching Sherpa's room on suspicion, illegal narcotic drugs, cash, and a fake police identity card were found.
