Kathmandu. The construction of the new hall for the House of Representatives inside the under-construction Parliament building at Singhdarbar has reached the final stage. Although most of the structural work of the hall is complete, the installation of the microphone and sound system is still pending, according to the construction side. However, a definite date for the completion of the construction work has not yet been set.
Despite repeated extensions of the deadline, work has been delayed, prompting Speaker DP Aryal to inspect the under-construction Parliament hall on Asar 1. He, along with Parliament Secretariat staff, inspected the site and directed the provision of an exact completion date immediately. He also warned of a daily fine of up to one crore rupees if the work is not completed on time.
