Lawsuits Against Sudurpashchim Provincial Government Surge

Kailali. The number of lawsuits filed against the Sudurpashchim Provincial Government and its subordinate bodies has increased significantly in the last three years.

According to the data of the Office of the Chief Attorney, Sudurpashchim Province, especially in the fiscal year 2082/83, there was a jump of 78 cases compared to the previous year. In the fiscal year 2080/81, there were a total of 109 cases in the ledger, including 74 carried over from the previous year and 35 new ones. Out of these, 46 cases were settled, leaving 63 pending. Based on the total ledger, about 42 percent of the cases were settled in that year.
