RSP MP Som Sharma Demands Release of Protestors

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Som Sharma has demanded that the government immediately release the individuals arrested during the Genji movement. Speaking at a program organized by the Genji Martyr Welfare Society on the occasion of Genji Martyr's Day, he demanded the release of those still in jail for participating in the movement. He urged the government not to treat the arrested as criminals.

MP Sharma claimed that the Genji movement was not to burn the country but to build it. Complaining that they are tagged as those who burn the country, he clarified that the movement was launched to end corruption and misgovernance.
