10 Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested in Thamel for Suspicious Activities

Kathmandu. The Department of Immigration has started an investigation into 10 Bangladeshi nationals arrested from Thamel, Kathmandu. The police had arrested the Bangladeshi citizens from hotels in the Thamel area of Kathmandu-26 on Monday and sent them to the Department of Immigration.

SP Sharad Kumar Thapa Chhetri of the Valley Crime Investigation Office told Ratopati that 10 people were arrested after receiving information about their involvement in suspicious activities. The arrested individuals are 46-year-old Fahima Akhtar Hasan, 48-year-old Mahmud, 45-year-old Mahbub Hasan, 49-year-old Ripon Mahmud, 30-year-old MD Karamat Ali Khan, 30-year-old Saidur Rahman, 50-year-old MD Khalilur Rahman, 28-year-old Arifur Rahman, 42-year-old MD Maruf Mirdha, and 64-year-old Mohammad Hanif Mia. The police arrested them from hotels such as Hotel Dhaka Express, Hotel Di Bhedha, and Hotel Alrahman in Thamel.
