Government Promotes Indu Ghimire to Secretary, Appoints to Defense Ministry

Kathmandu. The government has promoted joint secretary Indu Ghimire to secretary. A cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar on Friday decided to promote Ghimire to the special category (secretary) and appoint her as the secretary of the Ministry of Defense.

The promotion recommendation committee had recommended Ghimire in the first number. Based on that recommendation, the cabinet appointed her as secretary. Before being promoted to secretary, Ghimire was working as a joint secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
