Pokhara's Government Buildings Damaged in Gen Z Protest Remain Unrepaired

Pokhara. Government buildings in Pokhara damaged during the Gen Z movement have still not been reconstructed. Many buildings in Pokhara, which became the most damaged city after the capital, Singha Durbar, where federal offices are located, are still in ruins.

Protesters also set fire to the Gandaki Provincial Assembly building, Gandaki Province Training Academy, Chief Minister and Council of Ministers' office and ministries, Office and Residence of the Provincial Chief, Minister's residence, Pokhara Metropolitan City building and ward office buildings, District Administration Office, Land Revenue Office, Survey Office, Education Office, and dozens of federal government offices in Kaski.
